AID San Diego participated in the Harmony and Motion Non-profit Fair, held oin Balboa Park, San Diego on 28 September, 2013 (http://www.harmonyandmotion.org/non-profit-fair/). Several non-profit organizations were present in this fair, and it gave us an opportunity to reach out to the San Diego community, as well as interact with several organizations that are involved in social causes. Volunteers held a Henna fundraiser, and the money raised would be be donated to the Uttarakhand relief efforts. Several other items, including products of livelihood projects Chiguru (Raichur, Karnataka) and Jivani (Gujarat) were displayed to be sold at the event, and the proceeds would go towards various projects supported by the AID San Diego chapter.
